What a journey! Honest truth: In 1988 I almost didn’t graduate from high school. Got in with the wrong crowd. Spent four years…well, not doing so well. Decided to follow God in 1992. Finished a Bible degree in 1996 and a Family Studies masters degree in 2000. Worked at an Adoption Agency, a Children’s Home, and at Wildreness Trek during the summers. LIFE with God was great but little did I know LIFE was really just about to begin!April and I met in 1998, courted in 2000, married in 2001, welcomed Nathan in 2002, started HomeLife Academy in 2003, gave birth to Zachary in 2004 and Ian in 2005. Finally, a girl was born in 2006. Her name is Elena Grace. With great joy we had another baby, Seth, in 2008, and yet another boy, Micah in 2009.
Before all of this I was a bachelor for 10 years. Life has changed… but LIFE is good!!
What do we love in life? We love God and we love the Kingdom of God! By Kingdom of God, I mean people! We love people. God shows us how to love Him through His Son and through our brothers and sisters in Christ. And we are thankful for the Father’s infinite grace because each day we learn how to love Him more.
We love God and our six wonderful children. We love our mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters in TN and FL as well. And we love, love, love our friends in Christ.
LIFE — that is what this is ALL about. No matter where you live or what you do, Christ is LIFE. He shares His Life with us as we share our life with others.
